北京时间5月28日，丹佛掘金官方发布公告，对球队后卫威斯布鲁克的伤情进行了通告。
掘金官方表示：威斯布鲁克已接受右手多处韧带撕裂修复手术，他预计将于今年夏天休赛期全面恢复训练。
在此之前，威斯布鲁克就曾自宣要接受右手手术，但他本人只提到了右手遭遇骨折，并未提及多处韧带撕裂。
