当地时间5月26日下午，巴西总统卢拉感到身体不适，取消了原定与财政部长费尔南多·哈达德和总统府首席部长鲁伊·科斯塔的会议，并前往巴西利亚叙利亚-黎巴嫩医院进行检查。
目前检查已结束，卢拉已返回巴西总统官邸休息。
