在获得MVP后，SGA给雷霆队友每人送了一块劳力士手表作为礼物，并且SGA高情商感谢队友，他表示：“比起每天拥有劳力士我更愿意选择MVP，而如果没有我的队友，我根本不可能赢得MVP，这点礼物远远不足以回报他们做出的贡献。"
