5月17日，2025年全国游泳冠军赛男子400米自由泳决赛，潘展乐以3分45秒34的成绩超过老将孙杨，夺得冠军。也实现了自己儿时愿望：“比孙杨快就够了”。
在颁奖仪式上还出现暖心一幕，老将孙杨为潘展乐整理排名单，帮他把排名“1”稳稳贴好。
