乔-约翰逊表示：“我认为库里能打到40岁，我不希望他还是球队的进攻核心，也许队友可以去减轻他的压力。如果他不是核心，那他可以打到40岁，射手就是投篮。问题是防守那些刚进NBA的小个子们，随着年纪增大，脚步想跟上年轻人越来越困难。”
