5月16日晚，《歌手2025》首期节目开唱，林志炫带来《悟空》，最终获得第七，其不同于过往风格的妆造也被大量讨论。在赛后接受媒体群访时，林志炫坦言，妆造为了更好表达歌曲，选择《悟空》为了更好展现京剧魅力，传播中国文化，他对自己首场表现是满意的。（封面新闻记者 周琴 长沙报道）
