5月15日，在接受央视专访的时候，赵心童谈到了自己世锦赛夺冠后，披上国旗的感受。
主持人问道：当时你披着国旗，一刻也没有放下，是不是心里特别自豪。
赵心童回答：这是当然的，而且世锦赛夺冠对于我的人生以及中国斯诺克而言，都是一个非常特殊的时刻。所以我觉得那一刻，必须要有五星红旗在场！其实我拿冠军的时候，大脑已经一片空白，但是我为自己感到自豪！
