新华社布宜诺斯艾利斯5月13日电（记者王钟毅 张铎）蒙得维的亚消息：乌拉圭总统奥尔西13日通过社交媒体宣布，乌拉圭前总统何塞·穆希卡于当天去世，享年89岁。
2024年4月29日，穆希卡透露自己患有食道癌。2025年1月9日，穆希卡接受当地媒体采访时表示，他的食道癌已发生转移。
穆希卡出生于1935年5月20日，曾于2010年至2015年担任乌拉圭总统。（完）
