美国西雅图港港务局长瑞安·卡尔金斯5月7日在接受美国有线电视新闻网采访时表示，受到关税政策的影响，目前西雅图港没有一艘停靠的集装箱船。码头上没有工人卸载货物，也没有火车把货物运往内陆港口，这是非常不寻常的情况。
西雅图港位于美国西北部，是美国第二大集装箱港。
