5月1日，南宁方特东盟神画景区“太空飞梭”项目因装饰灯线路短路引发火情。现场明火于当日18时56分扑灭，未造成人员伤亡及其他设施影响。景区表示，事发后立即启动消防预案，该项目即日起停运检修，同时全面排查园区安全隐患。五一期间其余项目正常开放，游客可继续体验其他活动。
