韩国现代汽车公司及其子公司起亚汽车公司周五表示，由于对运动型多用途车（SUV）的强劲需求，他们4月份在美国的综合汽车销量同比增长16%。
现代和起亚汽车的销售数据显示，上月在美国共售出162615辆汽车，高于上年同期的139865辆。
在此期间，现代汽车的销量从74111辆增加到81503辆，增长了19%。起亚汽车的销量从65754辆增加到74805辆，增长了14%。
现代汽车的销售数据包括其独立豪华品牌捷恩斯（Genesis）。
