4月21日，中国日报社联合北京外国语大学成功举办2025世界读书日“阅读的力量”主题活动。中国侨联顾问、原副主席唐闻生在活动中她分享了自己在外事活动中的翻译经历，强调事前读书、事后读书，甚至“临时抱佛脚”的读书都是积累知识、提升能力的重要途径。唐闻生强调，正是日积月累的阅读，让她在外交场合游刃有余。
