根爆料者“KeplerL2”近日分享的信息，索尼未来可能推出的掌机设备，有望具备兼容PlayStation 5游戏的能力。
“KeplerL2”在回应网友关于当前世代游戏是否需要在新掌机上打补丁才能运行的疑问时表示，据他所知，这款设备具有“着色器二进制兼容性（shader binary compatibility）”，因此 PS5 游戏应该能够“直接运行”，无需开发者专门进行适配。
不过，“KeplerL2”也指出，尽管游戏能够运行，但在没有针对性补丁优化的情况下，其运行性能“可能不会很好”。
