经罗奇代尔官方确认，前罗奇代尔中场球员乔-汤普森去世，享年36岁。
乔-汤普森出自罗奇代尔青训，于2005-2012年效力于罗奇代尔，期间为俱乐部打进17球。在2016年，乔-汤普森回到了罗奇代尔，并效力至2019年退役。目前，罗奇代尔正征战英格兰足球全国联赛（第一级）。
