据墨西哥记者Gibrán Araige透露，墨西哥队将于9月份在美国与日本队以及韩国队进行友谊赛。
同时据多家日本媒体透露，日本队将在9月7日对阵墨西哥队，9月10日对阵美国队。
韩媒表示，如果在6月份确定晋级世界杯，韩国队也将认真考虑9月份的热身赛，不排除像日本队一样与美国队进行一场友谊赛。
