当地时间4月7日，美国联邦调查局发言人表示，美国司法部废除了一项有关枪支经销的"零容忍"政策。
该政策要求，如果枪支经销商故意向被定罪的重罪犯等被禁止持有枪支的人出售枪支，或未能进行背景调查，伪造记录或未能回应执法部门帮助追踪用于犯罪的枪支的要求，监管枪支行业的酒精、烟草、火器和爆炸物管理局（ATF）将撤销枪支经销商的执照。（总台记者 张颖哲）
