Germán García Grova表示：“若日尼奥与巴甲弗拉门戈双方已达成薪资协议，这位阿森纳中场将于这个月确定自己的未来，如果决定加盟弗拉门戈，那他将以自由身从枪手转会，预计今年夏天将正式登陆巴甲。”
现年33岁的若日尼奥与阿森纳的合同将于今年6月份到期，本赛季目前为止，代表阿森纳在各项赛事中出场25次，仅打进1球。
