赛程安排延续了节日期间给予球员更多休息时间的政策，圣诞新年期间两轮比赛间隔均不少于60小时。
8月16日的开赛日期确保了从2024/25赛季结束到2025/26赛季揭幕之间有83天的完整休息期。2026年5月24日的赛季收官日则确保英超在2026年世界杯征召期前完赛。
