新华社巴拿马城3月21日电（记者许咏政）巴拿马大学地球科学研究所21日在社交媒体发布消息说，当地时间当日上午9时50分，巴拿马附近海域发生地震，初步测定震级为6.3级，震源深度为10公里。
消息说，地震震中位于巴拿马科伊瓦岛西南方向约78公里处。
目前尚无人员伤亡的报告。（完）
