美国驻洪都拉斯大使馆当地时间3月5日证实，一架UH-60“黑鹰”直升机当天上午9时34分在洪都拉斯索托卡诺空军基地附近紧急迫降，机上5名联合特遣部队机组人员安全。
事故发生后，美国和洪都拉斯军事当局展开了联合调查以确定事件原因。初步调查显示，直升机出现机械故障。（央视新闻）
