近年来，吉林省通化市大力发展棚膜经济，有效推动农业增效益、农村增活力、农民增收入。截至目前，东昌区特色种植面积达1.5万亩，棚室面积1900亩，预计2025年蔬菜产量达21600吨，水果产量950吨。
