According to the actual need of science and observation, relevant Chinese agencies have implemented voluntary and technical adjustment regarding the buoy in relevant waters, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday.
Guo made the remarks at a regular press conference in Beijing, responding to a media question over whether China has removed its buoy near the Diaoyu Islands.

China's installation of hydrometeorological buoy in relevant waters is consistent with both domestic and international laws, Guo said.
