2月4日，商务部和海关总署联合发布关于钨、碲、铋、钼、铟相关物项的出口管制公告，对仲钨酸铵等25种稀有金属产品及其技术实施出口管制。据美国彭博社6日报道，由于中国的钨产量占到全球钨产量的80%左右，中方的出口管制措施让许多西方客户感到震惊。为确保美国及其盟友在国防、航空航天等关键领域的钨供应，一些北美采矿企业正寻求扩大钨矿的开采和加工业务。
