该记者表示，布莱顿已得知勒沃库森希望签下弗格森的消息，但尚未决定是否在冬窗放人。勒沃库森希望签下弗格森来替代即将加盟利雅得胜利的博尼法斯。
目前，弗格森和布莱顿的合同将在2029年到期。
