1月18日，有网友发帖称格力电器董事长“董明珠被停职审查”。格力电器方面回应界面新闻称，“该信息纯属无中生有、恶意中伤的谣言。该用户肆意编造并发布虚假信息，严重误导公众，对我司及高管的名誉权造成了恶劣影响。我司将坚决采取法律措施，追究其法律责任，维护上市公司及高管的合法权益”。
