2024年6月6日，世预赛亚洲区36强赛第5轮中国队1-1泰国队，23岁的谢文能替补上阵，完成了他代表国足的首秀。
2024年10月10日世预赛亚洲区18强赛第3轮澳大利亚队3-1中国队，谢文能首发出战，并斩获他在国足的处子球。
