1月16日早上10点，满载324多台新能源汽车的出口专列从西安国际港站驶出，标志着国铁集团“中国造”商品汽车出口专列开行累计突破5000列。
该趟专列从西安国际港站出发后，先通过铁路运输到连云港，随后船码头“乘坐”轮船，经停新加坡最终抵达墨西哥拉萨罗卡德纳斯港口，全程25天，行程12000多公里。
国铁集团数据显示，2024年1至9月国铁集团中铁特货“铁海联运”发运商品汽车61.6万台，同比增长107.52%。
