Sacha Tavolieri指出，比利时队正在寻找适合球队的新任主帅，球队体育总监曼纳特将范博梅尔、滕哈赫视为可靠的人选，但比利时队高管也在考虑聘请亨利出任主帅，预计本月底回做出最终决定。
亨利曾在2016年到2018年、2021年到2022年担任比利时队助理教练。
