今天是第五个中国人民警察节，公安部在京召开新闻发布会。会上介绍，2024年，全国公安机关共有208名民警、174名辅警因公牺牲，4743名民警、3710名辅警因公负伤，授予（追授）全国公安系统一级英模2名、二级英模59名，选树宣传全国“公安楷模”个人2名、集体6个，“最美基层民警"20人。（人民日报）
