12月4日13时22分许，台湾知名作家琼瑶在新北市淡水区家中轻生身亡，终年86岁。琼瑶的儿子及儿媳今（5）日通过琼瑶的脸书发声，“告别式将不设公祭，也不举行任何媒体会或纪念活动，不占用社会资源。在此刻希望大家给予我们家人一些时间与空间缓和悲痛的心情。”
