当地时间11月14日，Polymarket证实，美国联邦调查局（FBI）13日突击搜查公司创始人兼首席执行官Shayne Coplan的住所，没收其手机及电子设备。Polymarket成立于2020年，是今年美国总统大选期间一个热门的下注平台。
Polymarket发言人就上述事件回应称：“这显然是即将卸任的政府对Polymarket的政治报复，因为Polymarket提供了一个正确预测2024年总统大选结果的市场……Polymarket是一个完全透明的预测市场，帮助普通人更好地了解对他们来说最重要的事情，包括选举。”
