11月13日，香港特区政府教育局发布公告，香港天文台将会在今晚11时10分改发八号烈风或暴风信号 ，并至少维持至明早10时。所有上午校及全日制学校（包括中学、小学、肢体伤残儿童学校、智障儿童学校、幼儿园，及幼儿园暨幼儿中心）明日将停课。中小学的下午校及夜校上课安排将于明日公布。
