11月3日下午，中甲联赛第30轮，大连英博在主场2-1战胜上海嘉定汇龙，成功冲超。赛后，何宇鹏在微博发文祝贺了大连英博。
在本赛季加盟北京国安之前，何宇鹏在大连人效力了多年。在大连英博成功冲超之后，何宇鹏在微博发文祝贺道：“祝贺大连冲超，春风再渡梭鱼湾，明年客场见。”
本赛季中甲，大连英博最终取得了17胜6平7负的成绩，积57分位列中甲第二位，成功获得冲超资格。
