北京时间10月29日，WTA官网发布了“你认为谁会夺得WTA年终总冠军”的投票。截至目前，共有15662人投票，中国选手郑钦文已获得10957张选票，占比70%。萨巴伦卡和斯瓦泰克以13%和7%的投票量占据第二、三位。
本次WTA年终总决赛小组赛首轮将于北京时间本周六晚11点开打，郑钦文将在女单揭幕战挑战萨巴伦卡。同组的球员还有保利尼与莱巴金娜。
