28日，美国企业家马斯克在对美国宾夕法尼亚州的特朗普支持者发表演讲时称，自己可能会因为支持前总统特朗普而遭遇暗杀。
马斯克本月早些时候在宾州的另一场活动上说：“大大增加被暗杀的风险，或参政，都不是我想做的。我可不想死。但这件事如此利害攸关，我觉得我别无选择。”
