10月17日，国内突然传出一则消息：微软Azure OpenAI将停止个人开发者服务。多名开发人员也在网络上发帖称收到了官方所发的“停止服务”的邮件。Azure OpenAI业务是中国大陆唯一可以合法使用OpenAI的渠道。《每日经济新闻》记者随即向微软官方询问此事，并得到了肯定的答复。微软方面强调，此事只会影响中国大陆的非企业用户，企业用户仍能继续使用该服务。
