"I am able to meet a lot of friends and gain a lot of opportunities," said Betizhe Osmanova Akova, a Bulgarian undergraduate student at Tsinghua University, who loves the vibrant atmosphere in China. She enjoys eating stinky tofu and believes that life in China is very convenient, as most problems can be solved with just a mobile phone.
However, what troubles her is that people in Europe still lack understanding of China. For this reason, she plans to join the construction of Sino-Bulgarian friendship, further expand the areas of cooperation between the two countries, and promote economic development for both nations. She believes that in the future, more and more foreigners, especially young people, will come to understand the rapidly developing China.
