北京时间9月29日下午，利雅得新月在官方账号发布了两张图片，内容为利雅得新月的队徽出现在了纽约时代广场大屏幕上。
2025年国际足联俱乐部世界杯将于2025年6月15日至7月13日在美国举行，本届赛事是举办20届以来首届扩展至32队模式。
此次参加世俱杯的亚洲球队除了沙特球队利雅得新月外，还有日本球队浦和红钻、阿联酋球队艾因和韩国球队蔚山HD。
