9月29日10时45分，渝昆高铁川渝段泸州站首发列车G5766次列车从泸州站缓缓驶出，开往重庆西站。渝昆高铁是泸州首条设计时速为350公里的高铁，当天的首发列车于30分钟后，抵达重庆西站。在首发列车上，泸州准备了川剧变脸、魔术、歌舞等仪式感满满的表演。记者 徐庆 黄晓庆
