记者26日走访看到，东莞市博物馆新馆建设正顺利推进，该项目地下室结构已顺利封顶。东莞市博物馆新馆投资8亿元，由中建五局华南公司承建，将打造为粤港澳大湾区的区域中心博物馆，成为当地的文化新地标，计划于2026年开馆。
