加纳首都阿克拉的恩克鲁玛陵园是非洲独立运动领袖、泛非主义先驱克瓦米·恩克鲁玛的长眠之地。1957年3月6日，加纳在恩克鲁玛的领导下，成为撒哈拉以南非洲第一个从西方殖民统治下独立的国家。恩克鲁玛在《非洲必须团结》一书中呼吁非洲各国团结一致，实现非洲大陆真正的独立和繁荣。
