观点网讯：9月19日消息，八达通公司宣布计划将跨境支付服务扩展至日本，但尚未确定具体时间表。
此前，该公司于今年3月底推出了全国通卡，使用户能在内地336个城市使用公共交通工具。
八达通非执行主席杨美珍表示，除了内地，市民在泰国旅行时已能通过八达通App使用PromptPay服务进行付款，且暑假期间日均支付额增长了50%。
此外，八达通银联卡在韩国的95万个消费点，如餐厅、美发店和咖啡店等，也可使用ZeroPay服务进行支付。
