IT之家9 月 8 日消息，GitHub 向用户发出警告：如果在北京时间 2024 年 10 月 22 日前仍未启用双重验证（2FA），他们将被禁用部分功能。
当然，这对于 GitHub 用户来说并不算意外，因为 GitHub早在 2022 年年中就要求启用双重验证（2FA），并且后续 18 个月中又进行了多次提醒，但直至如今依然有不少用户未启用双重验证。
IT之家获悉，若用户需要为 GitHub 启用双重验证功能，需要为移动设备下载“1Password”、“Microsoft Authenticator”此类第三方认证应用，扫描 GitHub 提供的二维码，即可完成双重认证，此后用户每次登陆 GitHub 都需要在移动设备中进行批准认证。
