8月31日消息，通用电气公司（GE）已决定收购一家英国气候技术初创公司，以减少航空业对环境的影响。通用电气航空（GE Aerospace）已达成协议收购Satavia，该公司致力于减轻飞机尾迹的变暖效应。Satavia成立于2013年，最初的设想是保护飞机发动机免受灰尘、冰块和火山灰等有害物质的影响。（英国天空新闻）
