8月29日，SK海力士宣布，全球首次开发出采用第六代10纳米级（1c）工艺的16Gb（Gigabit，千兆比特）DDR5 DRAM。SK海力士强调，公司将在年内完成1c DDR5 DRAM的量产准备，从明年开始供应产品，据介绍，此次1c DDR5 DRAM将主要用于高性能数据中心，其运行速度为8Gbps（每秒8千兆比特），与前一代相比速度提高了11%。另外，能效也提高了9%以上。
