瓦尔布埃纳1984年9月28日出生于法国布鲁日，司职右边锋和前腰，身高163cm。他曾效力于马赛、莫斯科迪纳莫、里昂、费内巴切、奥林匹亚科斯、阿波罗利马索尔等俱乐部。
2014年巴西世界杯，瓦尔布埃纳作为法国队核心球员参战。
