7月26日，海南航空宣布，计划于9月1日起开通北京—东京（羽田）直飞航线。这是海南航空继北京—东京（成田）、北京—大阪、西安—东京（成田）后开通的第四条直飞日本航线。北京—东京（羽田）航线每周执行三个往返航班，班期分别为境内始发每周三、五、日；境外回程每周一、四、六。
