江苏卫视#启航大运河#中，详细论证了大运河和古代文学艺术作品的关联。“三言二拍”“四大名著”，许多传世名作本身都和这条大运河息息相关——施耐庵在淮安写完《水浒传》，《红楼梦》里的林黛玉在运河的张家湾下船等等，据不完全统计，明清时期80%小说作者都和运河有着密切联系。
