当地时间7月1日晚，据美国国家飓风中心报告，飓风“贝丽尔”已增强为5级飓风，风速每小时160英里（272公里），正向牙买加方向移动。
另据报道，“贝丽尔”早些时候在穿过格林纳丁斯群岛时，周边岛屿90%的房屋遭到破坏。（总台记者 邓雪梅）
