孔子，姓丘，山东曲阜人。作为儒家思想的创始人，他提倡仁、义、礼、智、信。他有弟子三千，门生七十二人。
Confucius, named Qiu, was born in Qufu, Shandong. As the founder of the Confucianism, he advocated benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and trustworthiness. He had three thousand disciples and seventy-two outstanding students.
孔子的思想被他的弟子汇编成《论语》一书，后人说“《论语》的一半‘治天下’”。孔子晚年整理了《诗经》《尚书》《春秋》等古代文化经典。
Confucius' thoughts were compiled by his disciples into the book "The Analects of Confucius", and later generations said that "half of the "Analects of Confucius" governs the world".
